Description

Auto Trick Races: Colossal Ramps: A Beginner's Guide

First thing to know: this is not a game about gentle cruising down a highway. The moment you touch the gas, you're pointed at some absurd ramp structure that looks like it was built by an engineer with a grudge against gravity. Ease into it. Get a feel for how the car handles a small jump before you go throwing yourself off the tallest tower on the map, because the physics here punish overconfidence fast, and a bad landing can crumple your hood in a way that's honestly kind of satisfying to watch, even when it costs you the run. Start in free mode, poke around, crash a few times on purpose just to see what happens. That's half the fun anyway.

Controller & Keyboard Guide

  • Arrow up accelerates, and it's the only input that really matters when you're lining up a jump.
  • Arrow down brakes or reverses, useful for backing off a ramp you approached way too hot.
  • Left and right arrows steer, and mid-air they'll tilt the car for landing angles too.
  • Tapping steering gently while airborne can correct a bad rotation before you slam down.
  • No extra buttons to memorize, so the whole thing runs on just four keys.

Winning Strategies

  • Speed matters more than people expect going into a ramp; too slow and you nosedive, too fast and you overshoot the landing pad entirely.
  • Watch the angle of your car before you leave the ramp, not after, since mid-air corrections only do so much.
  • Try each challenge once just to scout the layout, then run it again once you actually know where the danger spots are.
  • Don't fight the crash damage system; sometimes a rough landing still counts, so keep pushing forward instead of resetting out of habit.
  • Switch between free mode and the challenge tracks when one starts frustrating you. A change of pace resets your patience and, weirdly, your reflexes too.
